Going strong...

**Fashion is telling us that "safari chic" is still going strong into 2008, and you know what...I'm not complaining!! Although I have lost some enthusiasm for certain animal prints, I am still crushing on safari inspired prints, like this one below, which reminds me of one of the prints shown in the dresses above...**

**And how do you feel about this trend?? Still loving it or never did in the first place??**

When it's done well, like this, it is just beautiful.

like it better in 'home fashion' than 'human fashion'- patterns seem to big on those skinny models. love the China Sea fabric!

Me too Erika, I prefer the use of these prints in the home, but love the combination of prints in this new collection.

So funny, I have been thinking about how much I like this trend, kinda hard to do it for clothing though, if you mix it with organic, more floral shapes, then it looks cool, or if it morphs into a more graphic, modern style, that will freshen it up too. I am always scared I will look like an elementary school art teacher...you know the one with huge earrings, that one, creepy.

I'm a "less is more" kinda gal, but I like animal print in small doses. This post makes me feel good about the Nicole Miller leopard print umbrella I've been carrying for the past couple of months.... : )

I don't like animal prints, but I like the geometric prints here.
