They just moved this statue from Haines Point in DC to a new development further downriver on the MD side of the Potomac. It's by Seward Johnson (of the Johnson & Johnson family) and is called The Awakening. It's just incredible in real life.
Thanks so much for the info on this beautiful statue!! I think the name suits it well!
