there's no better chair to do so with, than a Chinese "Chippendale". Okay, I know we've seen these around quite a bit, but I'm just not sick of them yet...and you can't go wrong, they look great in any color. Am I right?

Love the new header and I'm not sick of these either. I'm loving that bright ultramarine blue one especially!
I've always loved them, too. For smaller spaces, I also love placing a bamboo ballroom chair in a room or hallway. They're simple and inexpensive...the bamboo gives a slightly exotic touch to a room with more conventional elements. They're also extraordinarily practical!

You do see them everywhere, but I'm convinced there's a good reason. They are so attractive and versatile!

i totally agree, this chair is a staple in classic design...
I love that these have made a comeback. They remind me of Babe Paley in that 196O's beach house kind of way.
