Beach House Glamour

"When you have a place at the beach," says Kenneth Brown, "you suddenly have more friends than you ever realized." This is surely the case now, that this interior designer has transformed what he calls " a white box with no rooms" in Santa Monica, California into a brilliant loft, which showcases a perfect blend of Hollywood regency and beach house rustic.

Wow Kate! This is very different b/c it's not a look I usually associate with beach houses. It's very graphic and glam!

I agree with Jennifer - very different from the norm, but no less beautiful! Very pretty!

Kate,

I'm so glad you shared this. It's one of the best things I've seen Brown do. Love that bedroom.

Thanks for the comments. I know, this isn't the typical beach house feel...a different twist on it. I love the rustic dining table paired with those laquered chairs. I agree Courtney, this is one of my favorite designs of Brown.

Nailheads, nailheads, nailheads. I can't get enough lately (I am ready to break into his place and steal the chairs). Is it just me?

Tag, you're it!

Here's how it works: Players list 8 facts/habits about themselves. At the end of the post, players then tag 8 people by posting their names and making sure they know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment at the tagee’s blog.

Love this entire feature. I might have to track down that issue for my personal library!
