Head on over to Elle Decor website and you will find a wonderful feature on the home of Judy Naftulin.
A coastal home with a neutral palette, featuring white walls, natural black walnut floors, and furniture that stands out with out being overwhelming. Although I have a thing for adding bright colors against white, there is just really something to be said about going neutral, all the way...
Those hydrangeas are just breathe taking a top the kitchen counter.
What a fantastic island in this kitchen, great inspiration for a DIY project!!!
What happened to the bird?...for more examples of birdcages and their uses, check out Peak of Chic blog.
This bathroom features a large painting of the "Mona Lisa" by John Currie.
A vanity with a modern country feel...I'm in love with those mirrors!
I want this view, and that's all I have to say :)

What a beautiful home, Kate! I am with you....love the white because everything stands out so beautifully against it. (I couldn't bare to say "pops" because that has become THE most trite word in decor land these days, do you agree?) Art galleries know something when they apint the walls white...
Thanks for the comments.
J Lee I love your white home post...yeah, I dont' know if the Mona Lisa would be my first choice...staring down at me while in the tub :)
I agree with you Anne on the whole "pops" thing. It is thrown around a lot, I have to say I've used it before too...because it's one of the many addicting words to use in reference to design...but no excuses, right? :)
This house is interesting b/c it's warm and stark, all at the same time (I mean this in a good way!). It's visually very striking!
I love the club chairs in the kitchen. If you can p/u a copy of British homes and gardens august07 there's a great example of using white walls, white this & that plus staying natural and organic, wood floors etc. I think you'd like the pics.
well, when you have the view, hope you are willing to share it? Coz, I am sure that THAT view must have made it's way on many folks 'want' list! ;-)
i'd like to visit, that's all I have to say!!
I could definitely live here. The white backround really sets off all of the natural materials, art and accessories. Great house! :)
Very quiet home ...it is full of peace. I would like to live in this kind of house .
Beautiful home!! Love neutral tones!!,
I love the use of the natural elements. I think this is such a wonderful way to highlight them against white. My kind of a home!
