I spy...

(image via Elle Decor, Oct. '07)

Well, it's hard not to spy my most favorite of wallpapers as of late, Osborne and Little's Asuka. See, I've been obsessed since falling in love with the Kate Spade ad below, and then I finally get my Elle Decor in the mail and what do I see, but the fabulous apartment of Michelle Smith and Andrew Oshrin of Milly, decked out head to toe with this same print in their Dining Room! Well, I say now that my obsession is becoming hard to control...

So, a few of weeks back, knowing that this had to be an Osborne and Little print, I emailed the Kate Spade ad into the ladies at the O & L Showroom in SF and said: "what is this, I know this is your print, can you send me one..." And they did, and like always, they are so sweet to include a few extra fabrics and trimmings with it.

I have to say, it's even better in person...perfect scale, perfect yellow...yup, I'm obsessed! Are you too, or is it just me?!?!

I have loved this paper since it was introduced - and have the Kate Spade ad as I also love her watch. There is another great colorway - pale blue backgroud, silver leaves, white blooms - also gorgeous. But my heart belongs to yellow.

Okay - so you've got under my skin. Last night I looked around my house and pictured the pair of yellow zebra print chairs on the current Elle Decor cover in my living room. Not something I would have considered before. I love that you're stretching my colour palette! And from the way you rave about this paper I think you definitely gotta get it!

I am so glad you posted this. I was just reading a comment on Cote de Texas (I believe by Mrs. Blandings) about this pattern and I was wondering what it looked like. Fabulous print!

Love the paper. It goes perfectly with the swatches you've picked. You don't notice that is has so much gold in it in the pictures. Metallics rule!

O&L have really stepped up their game. I wish you could see their windows on Kings Rd here - massive moving pinwheels made up from the latest collection. Fantastic.

Oh HOBC, that window display sounds fantastic!!! I always love when showrooms go wild :)

Thanks!!

Oh how beautiful! It is stunning, so much so that I may get some and put it on a large board and put it up just to look at it!
