It's sick, I know...but only you will understand my love for Hermes. I'm not typically big on labels, not all over my purses or clothes....but this one is hard to resist! On my list of "hope to have someday", this Hermes blanket makes it for sure, I would take it in any color really...
It's the perfect blanket for the end of the bed! (Images above and below are of the home of Bruce Glickman and Wilson Henley featured in this month's Elle Decor)
If you just so happen to have an extra lying around....well then use if for your spare bedroom!
It is always sure to make a statement, no matter the room! Here the blanket is featured in a bunk room, designed for the Watersound showhouse by Suzanne Kasler (featured in Southern Accents/July-Aug. '04)
I would place mine on a sofa...and if I had a buddy for it, well I'd do what you see here. Some blankets just like to be in pairs, or so that's what I've heard. Either way, I will have you someday Hermes blanket...just wait!
**Anna from Absolutely Beautiful Things must love Hermes as much as I do, check our her post today on these fantastic blankets as well!**

I love these "H" blankets.
Thanks Brilliant Asylum!
That's so funny, I was just looking at Anna's post and then I clicked on your blog and saw more Hermes blankets. Great minds think alike!
Personally, I love anything with an H on it because it's my initial and Hermes is perfect for finding things with an H...also very expensive!
I want the classic orange and brown blanket. Been on my wishlist for years!!!
Love the rooms you used here!
okay, so I must askk...how much will one of these lovely numbers set me back?
I know...just when you find the perfect blanket with your first letter initial, it costs an arm and a leg. Thanks for stopping by my blog Habitually Chic!!

Jennifer that is such a classic blanket, and I hope you can scratch it off your list someday :)

Thanks so much Courtney!!!
Well Franki, I have to say it's up there for a blanket, but worth going broke over :) I think it runs about 900-1000 if my memory serves me correct.

When you think about how much everything else costs at Hermes, $900 seems like a bargain ;-)
Be still, my heart. Hermes indulgence in pink&orange. Woohoo. I'm enjoying your blog so much - would love to include a link on my short list of fab faves - may I?
You are so right Habitually Chic...compared to the rest of the merch, this is on the affordable end :)
Greta looking rooms, love the colors and the hermes is popular around here too!
Thanks so much Dianamuse, I would love that...I'll be sure to stop into your blog and check it out :)

Thanks so much Robyn!! It's hard for a Hermes blanket to not look fab in a room :)

Thanks so much Melanie!
soo cozy!!
Loving this! Something to look forward to someday?
Kate, I love the orange and pink blanket. Plus, I am with Habitually Chic, love the "H" because it's my last initial, too. Works nicely.
Thanks for the comments Katiedid and Blushing Apples...glad you liked this Hermes post :)

Then it's the perfect blanket for you Anne!

How gorgeous (also a fan of Hermes - did you see the article about them in... oh - which magazine was it this month? US Vogue, maybe? Vanity Fair?). My only Hermes (besides perfume) is a scarf that I got in Paris in a depot vente, but I would love more! I love blankets - I got my first cashmere blanket recently, but I'm not allowing myself to bring it to Marrakech in case it gets hurt at all - I'm saving it for next year.
Oh they are fantastic! But, eek, the price tag!
PS I am about to post a query for you this evening on my blog.
I didn't see the article...I have to say with all my catching up on the design world in magazines, I sometimes neglect the fashion end of things. I will try and find the one your talking about though, and thanks telling me about it! Glad you liked this post "a year in Marrakesh" :)

I know Maryam...not exactly sticker friendly, but def. worth it! I look forward to your upcoming post :)
