(Miles Redd, the ever so talented...always picks the perfect pink as you will see with these images, shown top and bottom two images as well, all featured in Rooms to Inspire book) Miles, if you're reading (my guess is not)...what pink paint colors do you use?
**Too strong of a pink for you weak at heart, a more subtle pink is just a great...and not too girlie I assure you. **

**But maybe you're scared, and I get that...you could start small like the image below. The accents of pink in this room just make the difference.**

wow! i love pink! I agree the pink room remained in my adolescence and so I never dared to paint any room pink since it wasn’t a favored color choice for a grown-up. I like that it can be playful yet sophisticated. Great images, I will like to try it!
mmmm...when im rich n famous will you take care of my interiors?...new to blogging, but i love your far east meets modern style...keep it going iim such a fan.
oohh... i REALLY love that last room. the pink looks so great with the woven chairs! i have to admit i've was afraid to embrace this girly color for a while, but now i'm completely in love with it... in small doses :)
I'm remodeling my flat's hall and it is going to pink ( designer Guild's wallpaper) with grey .
I love pink and I don't think it is particularly girlie !!
I love this post.

So pretty! When pink is done right it is gorgeous!! My post 'think pink' allthebest2007.blogspot.com/2007/07/think-pink.html
it received more comments than almost any other post on my blog.
Glad you like this post Blushing Apples...It really can be sophisticated, take the stuffiness out of a room for sure. Thanks for the comment!

I'm still traumatized from growing up in a pink bedroom so I don't know if I could live with a pink room now. Maybe I manage it in a guest room or a great painting but I'd have to think about it. I enjoyed looking at your photos though! Thanks!
Of course I love the McDonald image and all of Miles' rooms!! They both are very adept at choosing just the right pink!
Call me up Lisa, I'd be happy to design your home :) It's always nice to meet new bloggers, and thanks for the nice comments...hope to see you around the blog world some more :)

Wow! These images are so pretty... I now know why Pink keeps coming back as a favorite color across design blogs [well, majority of design bloggers being women just might have something to do with it also! ;-)]
Some more pink eye candy for you Kate:

Thanks Jennifer!! Miles just has a knack for picking the best pinks...I wonder which ones he tends to use?

Oh no Habitually Chic, so sorry to hear that...a pink guest room would be fun though. I haven't done a pink room for anyone yet...it's not an easy sell!

You're right Bhavna...what is it with us bloggers and pink! Thanks for the comment, and I will be checking in on your pink inspiration as well :)

love pink. in fact, my first decorating decision when i was about 11 was to have my room wallpapered in pink + white stripes! The new Domino has a gorgoues pink room that i just posted to my blog.
You have me in a pink mood now! I need to go buy something pink....what to get, what to get.
Pink always looks great with black and white--great selection you have here.
Kate, you've got quite a round-up of my favorite rooms here! Great post.
BTW: Love the Oly image you found for your sidebar :)
Ooo thanks for sharing Marissa, I'll have to check your blog out!
~Kate
Yes Lindsey, go out and buy something pink! But let us know what you get :)

It's so hard not to just love each of these rooms, glad you liked this post Courtney!

Thank you Kate, I needed some 'pink' today, beautiful choices of rooms to post :) We have light pink sitting room in SF.
I love pink...such a mood lifter! Thanks for these great ideas. I have been trying to figure out how to integrate pink into my more adult walls. My adolescent room had pink and purple walls with polk-a-dots on one wall and I miss it! Now if you can think of a way to make polk-a-dots sophisticated.... :)
Oh I bet your sitting room is just fab. Robyn. Thanks for the comment!
