A signature color...

(image via Puerto Swegian's flickr site. The eyes are a little scary, I know...don't stare directly at them, she's thinking too pink!)

**Perfect pink walls are not easily achieved...and not often the first color choice for most. But, I aim to change your minds today! Pink is not just for a little girl's room any more...it can be just perfect in the right setting, and here are some that truly work, hope you enjoy!**

(Inspired as always by Jennifer with the Peak of Chic blog, this images was posted a couple days back, designed by Mary McDonald)

(Designed by Bettina Bachmann, featured in Elle Decor Home book)

(Designed by Jarrett Hedborg, featured in Rooms to Inspire book)

(Miles Redd, the ever so talented...always picks the perfect pink as you will see with these images, shown top and bottom two images as well, all featured in Rooms to Inspire book) Miles, if you're reading (my guess is not)...what pink paint colors do you use?

**Too strong of a pink for you weak at heart, a more subtle pink is just a great...and not too girlie I assure you. **

(Image via Domino Magazine website)

(You could try wallcovering like Jonathan Adler has here, image via Desire to Inspire blog)

**But maybe you're scared, and I get that...you could start small like the image below. The accents of pink in this room just make the difference.**

(Designed by Miles Redd)

Ronda at All the Best posted some inspiring Think Pink images back in July, click here to view them.

wow! i love pink! I agree the pink room remained in my adolescence and so I never dared to paint any room pink since it wasn’t a favored color choice for a grown-up. I like that it can be playful yet sophisticated. Great images, I will like to try it!

I love pink and I don't think it is particularly girlie !!
I love this post.

I'm still traumatized from growing up in a pink bedroom so I don't know if I could live with a pink room now. Maybe I manage it in a guest room or a great painting but I'd have to think about it. I enjoyed looking at your photos though! Thanks!

Of course I love the McDonald image and all of Miles' rooms!! They both are very adept at choosing just the right pink!

Wow! These images are so pretty... I now know why Pink keeps coming back as a favorite color across design blogs [well, majority of design bloggers being women just might have something to do with it also! ;-)]

Some more pink eye candy for you Kate:

I love pink...such a mood lifter! Thanks for these great ideas. I have been trying to figure out how to integrate pink into my more adult walls. My adolescent room had pink and purple walls with polk-a-dots on one wall and I miss it! Now if you can think of a way to make polk-a-dots sophisticated.... :)

Oh I bet your sitting room is just fab. Robyn. Thanks for the comment!
