Make bath time...all the time?!?!

(featured on Casasugar blog...)

It's called the Max bathtub chaise...said to be a contemporary twist on the sofa briefly featured in Breakfast at Tiffany's, available in several colors, selling for $2,940 from Reestore...

What do you think? Just for novelty or practical furniture??

They look fabulous, but I'd imagine they'd be cold to sit in and covering the back with a blanket or some such would defeat the purpose!

Did that post? Well, let's assume not. I think the baths *look* fabulous but they'd be horribly cold, and a blanket over the back would rather defeat the purpose, so a big nay from me, I'm afraid!

I love it! If I had the room in my home I would have it....you know one room with the comfy sofa for watching TV, and another living room for entertaining and having guests...

This was the era of the industrial spool table. Whimsical in your early twenties (and they couldn't afford it,) but too low and too hard. , and I sound like Goldilocks. Wait. I am. :)

You know something I love about that film that's never discussed? Her tremblant tiara.

Happy New Year.

They look absolutely lovely. It would perhaps not be ideal for my home, but I could see it fitting perfectly into my office where I usually do not want people to get too comfortable. :)

Can you imagine Holly Golightly with her sawzall carving out that cast-iron beast?

Me neither! :-) lol (but she does look adorable in there)...

i actually like it :)
i'm a bath girl so laying in a tub full of cushions instead of water still works for me.

How funny! I was just watching this movie the other day for what had to be the hundreth time. I swear, I catch something new everytime I watch it. I made note of her claw foot "sofa" this past time. I think the shape is so sexy. I wish something like this would work in my home. I just don't see the kids meshing well with this one. I suppose it is another thing to add to the list when I am finally an empty nester yearssss from now. :P
