Materials girl...

I don't know about you, but I'm really excited any time I hear there is something new going on over at KWID...

Photobucket

...and right now it's the new fabric and trim collection for Groundworks, that 's getting all the buzz! Said to have inspiration from Japanese art, filled with linens and plush velvets and interesting color combinations like lilac, magenta, and gray...I got a tiny preview from Lee Jofa's SF showroom when I was there (a few weeks back), but now I really want to see it all!!

How bout you, excited to see this new fabric line for yourself? I wonder if any of the pieces will take off like Imperial Trellis has...

I would love to see her new collection of fabrics. I love this picture with the fabrics in the background.

i like the high-waisted skirt in boucle. the ruffle edge is so savvy!

The look of textures is calming and more earthy which looks right to me coming off all those graphics. Personally I love the more subdued KWID.

Swoon ...

It kills me that these are "to the trade only."

Drat!

I think she has the Midas touch... i can't wait to see how it plays out. It looks less dramatic than I'd anticipated for KW. Isn't she adorable? :)

KELLY ROCKS!! This pic of her is soo cool! I love how they placed all the background fabrics in tiles almost patchwork-like....I can't wait to see what her new line is all about.

I can't even see the fabrics. I'm too distracted by Kelly's fabulous shoes!
