I heart "paper chandeliers"....

(Francois Halard, Vogue/Feb. '08)

These fixtures and many like them have been catching my attention lately...from magazines to lil shops, I've fallen hard. And what better way to contrast the elegant design of a chandelier by constructing it with alternative materials like wood or paper!!

(Curtis Popp/BlankBlank)

To balance out a space that borders on too stuffy or add to an already fun environment...consider a similar look with this Moooi fixture below...
Sold at multiple retailers and is a similar look to the one found in Halard's home...

Oooh so unique and fun! And probably way lighter than most chandeliers :)

I love the Halard chandelier! It's that whimsical piece that makes the room (as I mentioned on my blog today).
